Howdy to my friends out there... I know i am late because of my 'lackadaisical' attitude. Just remembered that I learnt the term 'lackadaisical' from my english teacher in Class 10. I retained this word right then and there as I knew I would need to use it many times, especially for myself, although i try and make sure that such a situation does not arise.
Now that I have pushed myself into blogging,I am really liking it. So how do i begin?
Well I am sitting here in front of the computer with my eyes glued to the screen. It is a bright summer afternoon... very bright infact... the one which makes you want to laze around like a cow in the shade... 'shade' being your room with the air conditioner switched-on at the lowest possible temperature. But the crazy thing is ...it's just the beginning of April! Oh yeah... global warming is taking a toll on all of us,but I guess we, the 'guilty', cannot complain. I still remember that my winter uniform in school used to start from October and continue till the beginning of April. But since the last few years, it's become SO hot that one cannot even think of wearing a coat in this kind of April afternoon!

To add to it,the lack of electricity joins hands with the heat and betrays us when we need it the most. I guess we have a right to complain about the electricity cuts which are worsening day by day... wonder if they will be worst in June and July, when the heat reaches it's peak. Who should be blamed for the electricity cuts and more importantly, where IS all the electricity? Well, its always gonna be a mystery to me and I am sure I won't be able to solve it even if I get Sherlock Homes to possess my mind. :) :P
This is it for my random beginning.I shall bid adieu to all of you for now. I know my thoughts were random, but they surely did make a little bit of sense...
But in the end, you are the judge. :)
very nice beginning anu...i like ur thought...

ReplyDeleteoooh!!!.. look who's blooging. Wow anu, really. it is a surprise seeing your blog.. rock it baby
ReplyDeleteI found some stats to complement your thoughts about power shortage.....
ReplyDelete...........shocking electricity bills at Ministers’ residences.........the electricity bill at the Chief Minister’s official residence was Rs 59,531 in August and Rs 42,252 in October 2008........The power cut should have usually reduced the energy consumption in the state. However, the consumption has increased at the Ministers’ residences after power cut........
In the end, I can only say I love my India...:P :P :P :P

Oh wow....now they are quite interesting and thought provoking figures..haha..
ReplyDeleteI wondered if there really was not enough electricity in india or if our politicians were especially the ones from punjab were selling it to other places for their personal motives.... which makes us the 'beast of burden'.....i believe the latter now... :D
ya right....these people are eating India....feel like knocking their block off...:D
